Felicia
Felicia is the youngest sibling of three girls who grew up in a Haitian household where Haitian culture lived and thrived in every aspect. Born in Connecticut but raised in Georgia, Felicia considers herself a proud Southern Belle and Georgia peach. At the tender age of 10 she fell in love with reading. She constantly tried to read on the bus, in class, at the kitchen table or anywhere else she could. With a book always nearby it was easy and exciting to fill every free moment with reading. Even now, Felicia enjoys being snuggled up in a reading nook with a book. After living through her Wattpad phase to becoming a kindle book connoisseur Felicia continues on with a strong book loving spirit. After recently graduating with a double major in business management and Africana studies, Felicia is working as a business analyst. No matter what, Felicia hurtles through the ups and downs of life as she continues to explore her purpose. Along the way Felicia has discovered a passion for cooking, organizing, watching musicals and planning events for friends or family.

Sam
Sam is the oldest of three girls from a Haitian immigrant family. She was raised between Connecticut and Georgia, where she could always be found with a book or a pen. She grew up reading and writing, with the hope that she would become a writer one day. Through stints as an English Language Assistant in Spain and AmeriCorps member in Washington DC she was able to share her love of words with little ones. She would go on to be a lawyer and her love of reading never left her. Fiction or nonfiction, romance or mystery, she loves it all. Reading continues to be her perfect escape into another world, when all around can feel overwhelming or confusing. Today she can be found working from home, traveling to see new museums, or reading in bed with her cat Keziah.
